About

Lollipop Records was established in the early 70s in München Germany and released many European Disco hits throughout the decade by artists such as Claudja Barry, Ronnie Jones, Disco Circus, Mascara, GAZ, Mick Rowley, Lipstique, Shakin Stevens and others. Lollipop was also the home for Rock groups like Amon Düül 2, Stefan Zauner, The Pack, Sham 69, Berlin, Cold Chisel and the Plastics.

Most of the Disco recordings were produced in-house by label president Jurgen Korduletsch and generated major hits not only for the original label artists around the world, but also as foreign language covers for big artists like Sylvie Vartan, Joe Dassin, Paul Mauriat and a host of others.

In 1981 Korduletsch relocated his base of operation to New York and started Lollipop Productions Inc. as a corporate umbrella for his production, writing, licensing, publishing and label activities. Over the years the Lollipop back catalog has contributed to numerous new hit recordings by Montell Jordan, Da Brat, Cypress Hill and French Rap superstars 113 and has been used in a great variety of Film, TV and Advertising projects. Lollipop is currently preparing to remaster and re-release many of its original artists albums for the first time via iTunes and other digital services.

Lollipop Productions has also provided the launching pad for the Popular Records and Radikal Records label and continues to provide label management and publishing services for both companies’ catalogs.
